Before calling for professional repair, try diagnosing common problems yourself.
My System Won't Run
Check: Is the controller powered on? Has the breaker tripped? Is the program set correctly? Is the master valve open? Is the rain sensor overriding?
My System Won't Shut Off
Usually caused by a stuck valve diaphragm, wiring short, or controller malfunction. Turn off water at the backflow preventer to stop flooding, then call for repair.
Using Too Much Water
High bills often indicate a broken head, leaking valve, broken underground pipe, or incorrect timer programming. Consider rain sensors and drip irrigation.
Dry Spots or Uneven Coverage
Caused by clogged/broken heads, misaligned heads, low pressure, or insufficient spacing. A system tune-up corrects these issues.
Wet Spots or Slow Leakage
